6 days later Oscar at 12:45 am fell off our bad onto the hardwood floors and broke his collar bone. We opted to medicate him and go to our dr 1st thing in the morning instead of going to the ER. We hate the ER. We knew the 2nd he did it, it was broken. It was a cry you just knew wasn't normal, not to mention the huge bump where your collar bone is. When the xray came out you could see clear as day the clean break. I couldn't believe how tiny his collar bone is. It is as big around as my pinky. Roscoe left later that day for the weekend for a hunt by Dutchjohn. I was on my own with 2 3 yr old recovering from 2 very different ailments. We all did great adn Roscoe hadd a nice trip. The hunt they had gone for was a successful one, so worth having him go. Ben and Roscoe were playing hunt guides. More Ben, but it worked to have both of them working together.
Oliver and OScar recovering together. Notice how not swollen Oliver is. Oscar was still big swollen a week at this point from his tonsils.
It was a sunny day so we took the kids out to ride bikes and enjoy the freezing sunshine.
Cyndell is my giant child. She has 8.5 size feet now and is only 4 inches shorter then me. I am 5'8''. It's crazy!! We also had jr high registration and orientation a few weeks ago. Now tell me how did that happen??
Since Oscar's injury was the newer one now, it allowed Oliver a little more freedom without mom worrying so much. He was able to ride his scooter very carefully.
Nicole and I making our buns cold on the cement. Hooray for good friends!! I called herr at 7am and said I am sending Oliver over there so I can take Oscar in for xrays. I knew I could do that without question. I am so grateful for my friend!!
OSCAR modeling his new gear.
