Annie Jr

It's the time of year where we all are starting to come out of hibernation and start moving again. That also means it's time for the school play. This year they did Annie. It was the best so far! The kids did great it was less practice, which allowed the kids to have more fun during play week, and Annie is just fun! After 2 yrs of trying for a lead she got one. She did fabulous! She played Lily, the girlfriend of Rooster who is mrs Hanigans brother. She was so cute! Lillian being in 4th grade now was able to try out for her first play. She went for Annie. It was a roller coaster she and a few other students heard the directors after her tryout say "that's our Annie" so she was convinced she was it. She would have been perfect! However they usually save the leads for the 6th graders and with our PTA it was unlikely. She was pretty upset despite our attempts at preparing her for disappointment. the girl chosen for Annie did good, but they really gave up a once in a life time opportunity to have the BEST Annie that they could have. Not because she is my child, because it is true. Anyhow as it is she was a by stander in any New York scenes, She also did GREAT!
2 of my favorite boys in the neighborhood. Also Annies stage crew.

Dell and Rooster. Rooster was a good 1ft and a half shorter then Dell and Miss Hanigan. It was hilarious

Now who isn't stoked about the warmer weather?? I couldn't be happier and neither could my kids. Those little boys NEEDED to be able to run off their energy. I needed them to be able to run off their energy. Yesterday we spent the day at the park then had a bbq outside. This funny face kid is my nephew Austin. HE is so funny! We love him!

Oscar and Zane. Zane is seeing how high he can bounce Oscar.
Jager doing his best to not be seen or captured in my picture.
