Welcome to Elk Camp

On Friday August 6th our family took a day to go help set up the Elk camp. This rainbow was literaly what welcomed us into elk camp. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life. Just as we pulled up to camp it started it to sprinkle. It only sprinkled for about 15 minutes so we waited it out in our cars. As the rain was stopping we started to see these rainbows forming, as we were watching Ben called over the walkie talkies (they were sitting the highest on the mountain) to tell us all to get out of our cars, that we all needed to come and see this rainbow. Rainbows are always beautiful, but none of us expected to see a rainbow this beautiful. A picture could not do it justice. It went end to end perfect adn when we walked up to the rainbow the color was so bright and spectactular that it took our breath away. It was truly magical and spectactular! I will never ever forget my first welcome into camp. Roscoe has been there many times and has spoken of the area and camp with love but I had no idea.
We all stayed in one tent for the night. It was so fun! There were 3 families or 15 people, 9 of them kids. many helping hands make for light work. Everyone pitched in to help get the tent up and camp all ready for the hunting season.
Rhiannon and Oscar. These kids sure love each other.
