Old beauty

To me this cabin is stunning! It leaves me breathless! I love it! My great grandfather Leo Castleton built it. It is up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
It is no longer safe to have people stay in it. The back patio has washed into the creek, but I still love it! The back windows in the main room over look the creek, the fireplace is directly across from the windows. It is so beautiful! The kitchen with the steep stairway that leads to only room in the cabin that houses 3 beds. This the creek right behind the cabin.

Poor cabin, I love it too. I have so many wonderful memories of days spent there. We used to go up and clean it every spring and then stay several days feeding the pot guts and taking breath taking walks to the salt lick and around the mountains. It's too bad neighbors are greedy and selfish, this is one time I wish we would have had deeeeeep pockets.
