First trip to silverlake

On July 22, 2010 the kids and I took a drive up to silverlake to enjoy the cool mountain air and get out of the city. Sometimes it's nice to turn my phone off and just go. We walked around the lake then went to the cabin to eat lunch and throw rocks in the river. I have enjoyed having the kids home this summer. In fact I am usually very ready to send them to school by now but this year I am not. In fact I would like nothing more then to hang up the phone shut all the doors turn all outside noise off and just hang out with them. This summer has been our busiest yet. So it has gone way to fast. I am grateful for every minute that I get to spend with them. I am grateful to for when grandmas will watch them so I can clean my house in peace.
