Who knows what they were laughing at..most likely me and my attempts to get up in the ice water.
Me Before I turned into a popsicle. it was incredibly relaxing. There is nothing like being on the water.
What a stud!
Check Mike out he was all over the water..then tried to tell us how bad he was out there. He rocked!
Then there was Ted in his itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini..this is his water suit from when he was a kid. It was so tight he waddled when he walked. As I mentioned before he has not been on the water in over 10 yrs, but he was able to get right up and had a blast!
This is me FREEZING! My finger tips were numb! I never did get all the way up, I think I will be able to next time. Nobody mentioned (i guess I should have just known) that as soon as you feel the pull that you should keep your arms pulled tight up to you and not let the go straight. I kept letting my arms go straight and of course that would send me straight over onto my face. I ROCK!!
This is Ron showing EVERY single one of us just how solem(?) ski. It was fun to watch Ron out there because he really is so good and he LOVES it!
I like this picture because it shows the beautiful colors on the mountain behind us..wich then can show just how cold it was that day. I think the high in the city that day was in the mid 50's. BBBRRR!!!
The Boss!!

I am not the "sporty" type, but there is something thrilling about being out in the water, if I can try not to think about the fact that I can't see what's underneath me.
Yeah that looks pretty cold. You know it's cold when you see the leaves changing a red/orange. Crazy. No wet suites? But it looked like a lot of fun!
