Bear Lake 2009

Hooray for BEar Lake!! We love to go up to Bear Lake! This was our 2nd year to go with the Towers we all ecspecialy the kids have so much fun and this year was no exception. We had some different expiernces this year that could have made us pack up and head home but we didn't! When we first arrived there we went to the same spot we went to last year..witch is the BEST spot there. Anyway we got all un packed, tents up food out, beds made when the director came over and told us that there had been a mistake that a triathalon was coming in on Friday and had the entire area reserved so we needed to pack up and move. Yes the ENTIRE camp! After a few minutes of feeling very overwhelmed with the idea of packing up moving and un packing again, I put it all in its place bucked up and decided that it was what it was and we had no choice, and I could either do it smiling or do it not happy. I decided to do it smiling as did all of us. We asked the camp director where we could go he showed us a map and told us what sights were open. We packed up ( we just took the poles out of our tent and left all the bedding in them and put them on top of the trailer) the rest just went into the trailer. We un packed and satrted getting ready for dinner. The director came over and let us know that we would need to pack the food up and put in the car at night because they had had a few skunks around and they had been known to come and take whatever food they wanted. Later that night we packed up the food but had some reminants from our s'mores around that attracted 3, yes 3 different skunks. We sat as still as we could as we atched the skunks come into our camp and take what they wanted. I was freaked the boys (meaning Ben and Roscoe) thought it was so fun and hilarious to tease the skunks. Honestly we are so lucky that none of us were sprayed! These pictures actually belong down lower but blogger has not been my friend today so they are up here. I just really like this picture of the twins playing together in the sand! The one up above every time they would poor the water by Oscar he would say" Oh No, oh no" in his sweet little voice. They were SO CUTE and SO FUN to watch play in the sand the twins really loved the sand!
9.10.09 End of day one EVERYONE is FINALLY asleep! Now the adults get to hang out and fear for lives from the skunks. 9.11.09Jager and Zane were playing with the baby. See them looking over her all adoring. There was another picture that went with this one that was erased. it was of the siitting on a rock "driving" the baby back to her mom. I might add it up top. They are so silly and creative together. Roscoe adn Jager pooring water down their river.I finally am sort of figuring out how to use my manual settings. I like the vivid colors even though it doesn't very natural. These are in a manual nutreal color setting. He was silly I ended up with a ton of pictures of Oliver because he was enjoying himself so much. He says" I having fun"!OscarThe boys would lay in the sand and rub move their arms up and down like they were making snow angels in the sand. Oscar for whatever reason really liked putting his face in the sand. The other 2 boys attached at the hip. We just love them all!Oscar would have sat here all day!
Meet me at the gun show!
Crazy kids! I love this picture. I think it is so fun to see the dads feeding the baby. See the concentration! Lol!Later that night we went for a walk and found a satge that the kids loved performing on. They sang us songs and did lots of tricks.
9.12.09 Goodmorning!
This is us making use of all these kids. See them all husking the corn for us? They were so helpful! It doesn't get more Jager then this. He is so beautiful but a GIANT pain in me bum! This is the skunk on the 3rd night. They stayed away the 2nd night because of the triathloners. The 3rd night though they were back and earlier. We didn't have our food packed up yet and next thing we knew our entire loaf of bread was being stolen. No need to worry though Ben and Roscoe were there to save our bread (like we were going to eat after the skunks had it anyway) but they thought it would be wise to steal it back from the skunk so they did. Again VERY lucky their stupidness did not get them or worst one of us sprayed..they would have deserved it! I am missing a ton of pics that I am going to add on a different post with no words. BLOGGER!!
9.13.09 This what kids get to do when the parents are packing up camp they get to lounge on all of our folded blankets. Don't worry their day willl come! HAHAHA!!The girls!
The entire gang minus little Kimmy!
