Hopekids

I sometimes have the great opportunity to help with some of the Hopekids events. I really love helping with Hopekids, ecspecially when Millie is there. She is the reason we started being involved with Hopekids and anything we may do with kids and families with cancer. I arrived early for set up and sadly had to leave just before the 2nd group came in so I could be home for my "Dr mom" party.
Miss Amelia, her friend Cami and Kaiden with the Santa hat. All 3 of the girls have endured or are enduring luekemia. KAiden has finished treatment for ALL t-cell. Millie and Cami are stilling fighting ALL pre b cell luekemia. These kids are all so AMAZING to be around.
Kristen and Stacie are also Hopekids volunteers. They are 2 of the photographers responsible for some of the photos.
Joe also is a Hopekids volunteer and is 1 of the photographers for some of the events. It really makes my heart happy to look around and see 3 of my friends enjoying Hopekids and their families. There are so many good people in this world and so many that would do anything to make a childs day just a bit better. Check out Hopekids at www.hopekids.org I don't know how to link sites together to make it easier, but I promise the extra typing is worth it.
