The Activity Day girls
Our sweet activity day girls and my leaders approached me in October and said they would like to do a project for some of the kids with cancer. Our activity day girls are split into 2 groups our 8-9 yr olds and 10-11 yr olds. This is our older group and we are combined with the Rosecrest 2nd ward. They decided to make blankets for 3 kids that we know. They chose Cami (kissesforcami.blogspot.com) , Rachel (steelestrong.blogspot.com), and Skyler (crystalandskyler.blogspot.com). Please take a minute to read all of their blogs. Monday November 8th the girls from both ward were set to deliver their gifts. The last minute the 2nd ward wasn't ablt to attend so Cyndell and Lillian (who are no longer apart of this group) were lucky enough to get to come with us. We were thrilled and humbled and forced to remeber how blessed we all are as we passed on our gift and then were able to turn around adn walk back out. Those of you that have spent a night or 2 at the hospital knows how trying a long term stay is. All of our love and Prayers continue to go out to these families that through them sharing their stories we have all come to love them. Now we just need to get ahold of Cami's mom Chelsea.
