Hopekids offered us a cabin to stay in, but we decided we would just sleep in the suburban. It was so FUN!! It is a strange thing to pack up Roscoe's suit and my dress and makeup for camping. Makeup??? We left around 2:30 on Friday 10.24, our goal was to make it to Bearlake Pizza by 5 pm. We actually did it! We enjoyed a great dinner with Hopekids. It was really fun getting to know new families. We spent the majority of dinner with a mom of 3, her Hopekid is a 13 yr old boy that has it "ALL" as he likes to call it. Which is the same cancer Millie has, A.L.L (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). They were a really fun family! Quite funny actually! The 3 of them kept Roscoe and I quite entertained with many many stories of practical jokes that they play. After dinner we went to the KOA to get situated, make goodie bags for the games on saturday, get to know the Oldham family and kids, and last but not least enjoy some relaxation by the fire visiting with families. We both loved every minute of it! Saturday morning Roscoe and I woke up before anyone else and started building fires in as many fire pits as we could before the families woke up or were ready to come out. Then they could be warm right away. If they weren't awake at all we would just drop wood by their pits, so they atleast didn't have to buy some more. Since we have alot of wood, this was something we could do. For every 4 fires Roscoe had made I would have 1, but hey that's still one. We really love these families and Hopekids! After that we jumped in our car and off to breakfast we went. We went to this great bead and breakfast that was so cozy and home like you almost felt you needed to knock. It was so homey and comfortable, the food was wonderful adn $10 buck for more food then you could dream. After our yummy breakfast and being mooned by the knome (see below) we drove down to the lake for about 10 minute looked around then hopped back in the car to change into out dresses and suits. HEHE!! FUNNY!!
Roscoe and Josiaha (he is Cr the director of Hopekids son)
Michelle and Jamie, Parkers family! I think he is a pretty lucky kid to have such a great mom. They were very entertaining.

While the adults were chatting one fire over the kids were playing games like, would you rather lick the bottom of an old mans foot or would rather lick the boogers out of his nose??? Good question I think boogers. SO FUNNY!!Parker is in gray and Toby and George are in green the short one in blac (they are bros). Those 2 changed their names on us a few times so I can only tell you th short guy in the middle with a blk jacket on is the Hopekid.

Lilly, Terra,DJ, and Dave. They belong to toby and George. We really enjoyed them also. Lilyhelped Roscoe chop wood and Dj was just so darn quit. The parents were great also.
