Davenport Canyon

For Monday July 5th we were going out to Tooele to drop some things off for Logans yard sale, we thought if we are going to go out we should just take the family out and make a day of it. We went past Grantsville to Davenport Canyon took all of the guns and spent a day shooting. I love to shoot! It is something my dad used to take us kids to do when we were little. Between our 2 families we had a fun mix of guns to learn to use and and teach the children about guns and gun safety. In this picture Oscar and Rhiannon were finding gold. They were pretty excited.

Lillian with the boquet of wild flowers she picked. We were a beautiful spot. The wild flowers were very beautiful!
When Oliver found out we were going to shoot that morning he got all excited and said "Mom I want to shoot the pink one". His favorite color is pink. His very first shot he got all excited and went" YYAAA"!!! So funny!

Gotta love a strong independant weapon wielding woman! I can tell you she knows what she is doing. She has taken several gun safety classes.

Jager shooting the .308

ME shooting the .338 that was a BIG gun.

Cyndell working past her nerves to shoot .243 to get prepared for her first real elk hunt that she has her own tag. We had a great day!
