Our Journey: Summer kick off

Our first day of summer started off at Aunt Amanda's playing with all the cousins. Just before we were ready to leave Millie had to have her treatment. Amanda and Millie let all the kids watch. It was an interesting moment that makes my heart hurt to think about it. Millie was amazing and so was Amanda. After that we all loaded up in my car and I was off to the races. We had all of our nieces. We had so much fun! It was insane with all the kids but was really fun! It is what life is all about.

ALl falling asleep under stars

Roscoe bringing Millie in to sleep. This was her first time sleeping over since she had been diagnosed. It was like a closing of a chapter for me because she had been here for a few days a few days before she was diagnosed. I didn't know if she was going to associate sleeping at our house with not feeling well. When she asked if she could come over to I was pretty excited. I think she was too! She literally laughed all of Friday evening and night along with all of Saturday. It was delightful!
