When we were little we spent pretty much everyday in the summer down in tanner parks gully. We used to damn up the top of the tube and "shoot the tube". we would come home at the end of the day with great memories and holes in our cut off shorts. Even being where I am in this picture brings back so many good memories for me. The sound of the water, the way things and voices echo up the tube the smell of the water. All of it! It is good that some things don't change and this is one of those places that they should leave alone and let nature entertain us. I hope to be brave enough to "shoot the tube"again by the end of the summer. Here's to HOPE!

So far this spring you have to seize tthe day for tomorrow the wind will blo you into kingdom come and then some. We have been lovin every day outside too. Great Pictures. What were you guys digging?
I just found your blog through Chris Patten's. I used to shoot the tube all summer long, and bring my lab down to catch the ball into the water. What awesome memories!!! I need to bring my kids down more!!! Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing!
