Big BOYS

Easter night we were FINALLY able to get the twins their big boy beds. They have been in their cribs for far to long. The other 3 were out of cribs no later then 27 months the twins are 33 months. It was a very sad moment for roscoe and I as we took the our babies cribs. KNowing they are our last. I hope all of you "young" mothers treasure every sweet word that comes out of your small childrens mouths. I promise it really does go fast and the excitment that is their voice with EVERYTHING that they say gives way as they become little people, then little men and women. They really won't be just yours one day. Children are beautiful and the most amazing blessing this world has to give us. Oliver says to us "I love this bed". Then the next morning he says "I want my crib back". Sorry kid that's just not happenin'!Oscar "I sleep in my big boy bed" "Goodnight, I love you mama"!

You don't know with your first or even your second, but by the time you get to your 5th you know that they GROW faster then you could even imagine possible. We are taking in every noise, sound, word and movement that these boys do. I can't explain the sadness that we feel knowing that the excitement that such small children have in them will be gone from our home. Yes we are entering VERY different stages, but what little children have in them can never be duplicated. We love them with more then everything we have. Even though I am pretty sure I have lost my mind and they have driven me past insane. I understand why parents say to their children that they want grandkids..it's what keeps us sane from losing our children to their own lives and families, that our homes will one day again, be graced with the small pitter patter, screeching, excited voices of small children.
