Our first fracture
On Thursday October 22 Jager jumped off of our bathroom counter and fractured his foot. We waited until Friday to take him in and have it looked at. It never really swelled and never bruised. After seeing the Dr and having X-rays he said it "might" be fractured and sent us on our way. He said he would send them in to have the radioligist to take a look, told me if he was still limping by the middle of the week to bring him back in. By Monday he had no improvement and was still limping, but there was still no word from the radioligist. It took until Wednesday to get the news back that it was fractured and we needed to come right up to get a boot on it. The Dr put a hard splint on him and off we went again. It has never slowed him down aside from the limp. I wish it would slow him down then I might not have to worry that he is going to hurt more. Yesterday I caught him on the kitchen counter (wich is higher then the bathroom counter) trying to get up on the frdge to get the remainder of our halloween candy. He will be in his splint for 3 weeks making it a month total. Its a good thing kids are so resiliant!! I hope this is our first and last, but I have a feeling it is just the beginning!
