Anyone out there that hunts knows that the archery Elk hunt began on August 15th. Who was there to ring it in you ask? No other then Roscoe, Cyndell , Ted and Brant and Ben in spirit. They left the 13th to scope out the area. Lucky for them they had gone upa week earlier and set camp up since the weather decided to turn bad the weekend they were up there. They were up by Strawberry some where and they actualy got some snow. What they didn't get was an Elk. They will go up to camp agin this weekend to try again. Roscoe won't have Dell with him so he should be able to be a little more intense then he was the first time. This was her first Elk hunt so they took it a little easy so she would not get to over worked and not want to go again. She loved it! Who wouldn't love a Elk hunt alone with their dad?! Wish them luck this weekend we could use a freezer full of Elk meat.
