Our Journey: Demolition Derby In Kamas

7.25.2009 I have never been to a demolition derby before so when our friends asked us if we wanted to go we were pretty excited. It is always fun to try something new. We started off the afternoon going up to Woodland to have dinner at the Towers friends home with all of their family and friends. Sadly I didn't many pictures at dinner I was busy eating great food and enjoying wonderful conversation. After a wonderful meal we headed back into Kamas to be completly entertained. A few things here..one there are some strange poeple that show up for the derby if Leno was still on they defintly could have made his show and two what kind of crazy folks want to crash head on into other cars an be flipped over?? Roscoe and Ben you 2 are excluded from answering this question. CRAZY!! IT was intense and fun! It was nice to leave the twins behind to so we could actually hang out and watch instead of chasing 2 boys all over. We had a few roll overs and one time where one of the cars drove right up on top of the other car. I am telling you these kids are insane. There were a few times I was sure the cars were going to burst into flame at any given moment. It was so fun! I do have to say htough that the girls look really woosy compared to the boys there crashes or bumps as we will call them are not nearly as exciting as the boys. It was a great night and we are so glad the Towers invited us to join them in there yearly tradition. We also are excited to have a new 24th of July tradition. I recomend that everyone expiernce the derby atleast once. Good times!!
