VEGAS with MY Dianey fannie

This last weekend I was lucky enough to get a chance to fly out to Vegas to meet my BF Diane, she lives in Ohio. I was planning on flying to ohio to visit her (wich I plan to do next spring) when she called me to say that her mom in-law would fly out there to watch her kids so she could get a vacation. Her hubby is in dental school and with her having 3 kids they are a super busy family and she needed a VACATION! It was so great of our honeys to let us do this together.
I was super excited to get some much needed time with my friend and to have a sleep over, that is something I have not done with Diane since we were teenagers. I landed first and was waiting for her when she got off the plane it was so wonderful to see her there is nothing like seeing your oldest bestest friend in the whole world. I missed her!! Just writing this will make me cry! When you have someone that knows you and knows all of your history not only knows your history but is part of your history it is like all of my troubles and worries just disapear. I would not trade a friendship like this for anything in this world. I love you Diane and am so glad we got some much needed time out! We had a great time and don't worry we didn't get to wreckless!!

This is at the airport. I loved the energy in Vegas and all the great people that were there to entertain me. As everyone knows if they know me I love people and I love to watch people we are all such interesting creatures!

Diane right off the plane. It was the BEST ever to see my friend. The anticipation waiting was as good as waiting for christmas as a kid. I made her pose for this picture. LOL!This is us in our matching shirts we bought them together last year when she was here visiting. I know we are dorks! Our first full day there we took the bus down to the store to stock up our fridge. Check out that muscle on this babe. I was so impressed! Just look at that buff momma!Yes we really did stay up a little bit past my bed time.Night night! In our matching shirts! This pool was the biggest party pool it was so funny to watch all the drunk people. We had a dj that was calling people up to dance and was handing buckets of beer to who ever could shake there bootie the best mind you it was like 10 in the morning. It was so funny to watch the girls get up to shake there bootays only to fall right over on them. hangin' by the pool all day was really nice and super relaxing! It was a great day!
Later that night we went a show at the Hooters hotel. It was called the Mentalist some of you may have seen him on the NBC show the Menalist and I think he said CBS just picked up his show. What does the Mentalist do? He messes with your mind! I love these kinds of shows I could sit and let them mess with my head forever so I was way excited to see his show. Diane was a bit skeptic but I believe after this show she went away with alot of questions just like I did. We both got up on stage for the first part of his show and had a GREAT time up there but Diane got up a second time. It was so fun since we both KNEW that he did not have any of the info from either of us. So he picked some intials and the lady with the intials stood up where he proceeded to tell her her full name and other random RANDOM thoughts that were on her mind and then told her she needed to pick someone out of the audience that was married. She picked Diane. He has her stand up and asks her who her very first crush was? He wanted her to go way way back. He calls her up on stage she says the name Brandon ( Jason priestly from 90210) he then proceeds to pull out of an envelope a paper that says "Someone in this audience will say that their first crush was Brandon"! WIERD!! It was so fun and mind boggling! I am pretty sure that Diane and I were loudest most involved audience members that night. We were laughing our little bums off, my cheeks hurt! This is him pulling out the paper that reads Brandon. Look at that face!I LOVE this picture it is my favorite from our whole trip. This is us with The Mentalist
Me pretending to gamble. I did play $5 in slots..big gambler I am!
Us taking a picture of each other.LOL!
On Sunday Dianes bro and sister in-law were so super kind and nice they came and picked us up and drove us up to lake Mead and Hoover dam. It was really nice to get off the strip and enjoy some quiet peace for an evening.
Helen, Tristy, Diane Lindsay. She was wearing her Cleavland Cavaliers Jersey in support of the play off season. Sge ran into a few other supporters on the strip in their jersies adn they had to stop to woo woo for there team. I should have gotten a picture of that! Diane and I at Hoover Dam Josh, Helen, tristy, Daniel (the bro and sista in law) ,Rome the dog, and Diane that is Hoover dam in the backgroundBye my friend! This is just before my shuttle came to take me to the airport. I hope it is not another year before I get to see you!

A few things I want to mention:
-Yes we did stay up untill 8:30pm one time.
-That Mentalist guy was a creepy dude.
-The only reason I wore those shorty shorts was because I thought we would swim at the lake. Brrrr.
-Of course I wore my Cavs. jersey! They do rock.
-I love you too. And miss you dearly!!
