Rosecrest run

A few weeks ago the girls participated in the schools annual run that they have been doing since i went to school there. The upper graded started the race off on our street, they ran up and around to the back of the school. I was able to see cyndells group take off since I was manning the corner they started, but unfortuantly I didn't get to see her finish I had to take off running to get back to the school so i could watch Lillians grade take off and hand out the metals to the lower grades as they crossed the finish line. This picture is the 4-3rd graders on take off. cyndell is the 3rd kid from the left in the red shirt.

This is the second graders getting ready to start. lillian is front and center. Lillian STOMPED and I mean STOMPED her entire grade. I was so proud of her! That is her in the VERY front of all the kids as you can see she had a solid lead. It was like she wasn't eventrying that made it even more fun to watch her. When I was a kid and ran these races I always came in 1st or second so it is fun to watch the girls run these races.
