Tubbs Romp to Stomp

This Saturday Roscoe and I Snow shoe walked in the Tubbs Romp to Stomp 5k. My friend Kim is a fitness instructor at the Huntsman center and invited us to join her and her team. It was an amazing event to be a part of. The spirit of these women and people that are there fighting or in support of their family and friends is strong loving and united. We both loved it and feel grateful that we are we were able to take part of and support such a great event. We walked in celebration of and in memory of some of our greatest friends family members and my Aunt. If I would start to run out of energy I would think of these amazing women who fought for years or have fought and won their battle with breast cancer and it would give me the energy to keep going. This is something that both Roscoe and I enjoyed being a part of and will do as many as we can in the future.
This days race/walk had 475 participants. In total they raised around $15,000 to help fight breast cancer. Total last year they donated $118,000,000 to research.
THese are the names of the loved ones that we both wakled for. It was an amazing expeirnce for us both.

At the end they did raffle giveaways and I won are you ready...... coffee. WOOHOO!! This is our entire HCI team (Huntsman cancer institute). OUr team consisted of breast cancer surviors and others fighting other cancers now and their family members. Instructors and friends.I just thought Roscoe looked hot in this pictureRight after we finished our walk/runThis is some of our team finishing up the walk. Roscoe went back down to walk up with them.We are feeling triumphant!

That was the best. I'm so glad you were able to participate in a snow shoe walk event. You are right Roscoe did look hot, and you're the lucky girl.
