Projects

Our family has a horse that my dad made for us when we were little. He has been through a few coats of paint the last was hot pink! I decided it was time to sand him down to bare wood and finish him in a stain that would look nice and could be used with boys or girls. Unfortunatly I didn't take any before pics but this is the end result. He was my first "real" paint job. I have 3 other project I am working also. One is a doll bed for Lillian, refinishing Roscoes nightstand and sanding down nad repainting our back porch banister and staining our stairs. I am excited for them all. We will see how many I actually finish though.

This is the color it was before I finished refinished it. I think this will be next.

Your Aunt Mary Ann has one of those rocking horses as well some where still maybe. The plan for the rockers came from the toe painted horse hanging above the basement stairs. I think it say Bickmore on it. Anyway that is what I used as the rocker pattern. Meagan and Jack maybe Phoebe remember it.
