We left on Wednesday the 13 and arrived home late on the 20th. We spent 2 days in Disneyland and California adventure and the other 5 days on the beach. We went boogy boarding, attempted diving but I am a little clostorphobic, fished from the pier in Huntington, Walked from pier to pier collecting shells( this day was my favorite) every cell in my body felt relaxed for the first time in years. My neck and shoulder muscles were even soft. and just went wave jumping. It was a blast and a very nice care free week. We have not had one of those together since we became parents. Roscoe lived up every minute of his vacation and played like we kids. I love him and very grateful to be married to my Best friend. He is the most amazing man and I look forward to many more memories with him
Hello Disneyland!

This me taking a pic of a pic on the tower of terror. It is a pitch black elevator in the twilight one that unexpectantly drops you about 90 feet. It was so scary fun. Look at Roscoes face

It's a bugs life 3d movie. They are my favorite it is so fun

While at salt creek beach I was watching Roscoe dive instead of paying attention to the waves and was caught and fliped upside down and dropped into the hard sand onto my head and shoulder. We spent a few hours in Er that night to make sure my collare bone was not broken. It was just strained and I was supposed to spen the rest of our vacation in this sling, but I didn't. I did have a pretty bad case of whiplash the next few days and the shoulder is still little tender but not to bad.

Salt Creek Beach
This the day and the beach that I got hurt. I actually was injured in this picture. It is at Salt Creek beach it was defintly the prettiest beach we went to.
Boogie boarding in Huntington
This is at "The Wedge" in Newport beach. Our great friends the Wallaces hooked us up with all the fun beaches and places to go in California. This was on our anniversary August 19
Happy Anniversary Roscoe. We were watching the sun set at the Wedge
Roscoe caught a sand shark off the Pier in Huntington beach. It was so awesome we were not expecting to get a shark. They are so strong and there skin feels like sand paper. COOL! I had a picture of me and my small fish here but I am not sure where it went. I caught a scuplin
Goodbye California..Hello reality

I hate that tower of terror ride. JJ just about broke my leg he squashed it so bad! Of course he denied this. Good idea taking a pic. with the phone. Who wants all those $25 pictures? Love the beach pictures, you look awesome. NEVER tell anyone again you have 5 kids. They won't belive you. Oh, and I hope you cured your farmer tans.
Happy Anniversary! That sounds like so much fun. I'm sad I didn't get all the details while you were our visiting. That's too bad about your shoulder. It was so good to see you.
