The twins turn 1

Yesterday the boys had their 1st bday can you believe they are 1? I am having a hard time grasping the idea. It was a little bit of an emotional day for me I found myself with tears in my eyes a few times for a few reasons. One my BABIES are ONE, two what if these are my last babies, and 3 we MADE IT! I remember when they were first born I would say to myself if i can just get through the first month I can do this and here we are through the first year. These boys are amazing they are sweet, cute, smart, funny and a even a little bit naughty. In the last few weeks they have started chasing each other through the house laughing hysterically at each other and when we got them their big boy carseats they one of them crawled inside the box while the other sat outside and they played peek a boo with each other and yes they do this all by themselves. They are so great and so much fun at first I thought how could someone say twins are fun you are sleep deprived, there is always someone crying and busy doesn't even begin to explain how it is but as they started sleeping and the bigger they got the better they were and I was. When they started sleeping that was the greatest day of my life. It has been a rollercoaster year with many things learned and I am grateful to my twins and family for being the ones to help me to learn nad grow everyday. With that being said we had a great day yesterday. We started out the day with me and the kids heading to Mcdonalds for breakfast then home for naps before we headed off to the park with grandma for a picnic. We had a blast!! Then home for naps again before everyone came over for a big birthday celebration. Every time the boys opened a present Oscar would have to leave his and help Oliver open his. When it came time to eat cake Oscar was very careful and Oliver just took his whole plate and shoved it in his face. We love our twins they keep us on our toes as a matter of fact as I sit and write this Oliver keeps climbing up the stairs and when I turn to tell him nono he laughs and climbs up more. HAppy Birthday to Oliver the big bro and Oscar the little bro
