Mom and me class

Mom and I took a gun saftey class up Parleys canyon together to help us both feel more comfortable with our handguns. The Polite Society offers a free class once a year to women, so we took advantage of it. We had a great time together and we learned alot about guns in general and ecspecially our guns. moms was a old time revolver and mine is a 9 mm. It was a pretty powerful gun I don't think I hit the target more then once since everytime the gun went off I would close my eyes. I think I need a few more classes. For some reason the rifles and shotguns and our 30 yacht(?) are not as intimidating to me as the "little" guns. I guess that was the point of the class was to feel better with it. Mom kicked but with her gun, she shot mine once and somehow managed to cut the end of her thumb with it. It was funnyshe was not expecting to be that powerful she says" it is throwing firey bullets at me" LOL it was hysterical it took a minute to geta grip after that I was laughing so hard! Anyway I loved it and look forward to doing it again.
