I was lucky enough to be able to go on a field trip with Cyndell and the entire 3rd grade class up tp red butte gardens. We were given detective sheets and laminated books that told us what we would be looking for. We set off on a 2 mile hike up behind the foothills where we learned about milkweed, oak and maple trees, Galls, mule dear plants and more it was a beautiful day the kids were all very good and seemed to enjoy themselves. This is Dell getting on the bus man was it loud on there so loud in fact I could barely hear my own thoughts. They were much quieter on our way home.

Cyndell and her best friend Emily and Amanda

I can't remember what these are called something root but the blossom smells JUST like chocolate. They were so beautiful I really enjoyed the walk and the smells of the canyon when the wind would blow.

How fun! I bet Cyndell loved having some time with you by herself. Looks like it was a beautiful day.
I can't believe how big she is!
Was Cyndell imbarassed to have you go? Or are you not cool yet? I miss that pretty desert background!
Oops! That is supposed to say, "or are you not quite un-cool yet." Or something like that. I seem to not be cool already with my boy.
